KRIHS won the Partnership Awards at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of KWPF and the World Bank Korea Office

KRIHS has been honored with a partnership award at the 10th Anniversary Conferences of the Korea World Bank Partnership Facility and the World Bank Korea Office held on April 25 and May 24, respectively. This recognition highlights KRIHS’s contributions to the active sharing of knowledge in the field of regional and urban development and its outstanding collaboration with its counterparts at the World Bank. KRIHS initiated its partnership with the World Bank in 2008 with a joint research workshop titled “Strategic Management for Growth and Urban Policy on Regional Development.” In 2010, KRIHS and the World Bank signed an MoU to foster a mutually beneficial partnership between the two parties. Since then, KRIHS has supported the World Bank’s efforts to address the urban challenges faced by partner countries worldwide through various partnership activities, including capacity-building programs, joint research, technical cooperation, and others. With this esteemed award, KRIHS is poised further to broaden the scope of cooperation with the World Bank, leveraging the knowledge and expertise produced by collaboration between the two parties.
