Hubei Province (China) delegation's visit to KRIHS for workshop

The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) on Oct. 31 (Mon.) hosted a workshop for a visiting delegation from the Land and Resource Department of China’s Hubei Province. At the request of the Korean-Chinese Cultural Association, the delegation of four officials in land and resource development led by Chen Xinhua visited KRIHS to attend the workshop.

GDPC Director Chung Ilho gave a presentation on his center’s organization and functions, and expressed intent to foster mutual cooperation between KRIHS and the Hubei region.

Afterwards, the delegation held a Q&A session on KRIHS’s training program for public officials, Korea’s farmland protection and policy for the development of farming regions. The workshop greatly helped the delegation understand KRIHS’s operations and promote friendly exchange, as well as seek mutual cooperation with the think tank.
