KRIHS-World Bank: The Art of Knowledge Exchange

The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) and the World Bank Group jointly held a workshop titled The Art of Knowledge Exchange to promote mutual exchange in an auditorium of the KRIHS on July 1. This comes after they signed a memorandum of understanding in 2010. The speakers were Philp Karp, lead knowledge management officer at the World Bank Group, Haruka Imoto, knowledge management analyst at Tokyo Development Learning Center, Sooeun Kim from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management.


  This workshop, one of the workshop series titled The Art of Knowledge Exchange, aims to boost capacity of public institutions through knowledge exchange between individuals and departments. The event was jointly designed by the KRIHS and World Bank to enhance understanding on tools and methods for capturing, packaging and sharing knowledge. 


  26 staff of the KRIHS attended the event, and joined group activities including self-evaluation of capacity for knowledge exchange, vision statement and action plan establishment, as well as free discussions including debate session.
