The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of KRIHS organized a seminar on Islamic and Arab culture on August 3, at KRIHS. As a presenter, Mr. Abdelwahab Ibrahim, an urban planner from Egypt who is currently studying at the International School of Urban Sciences (ISUS) at the University of Seoul, introduced religion, customs and traditions of Islamic and Arabic countries. In the discussion after Mr. Ibrahim’s presentation, attendees asked and talked about Sunni-Shia relations, halal food and Muslim culture. The organizer and attendees hoped this seminar help KRIHS staffs better understand Islamic and Arabic culture and seek more collaborative opportunities with the countries in the future.
