Objectives
  • In order for delegation from Vietnam to study the legal and institutional framework and experiences related to land administration in the context of the Vietnamese government's initiative for the overall assessment of the land law implementation and an examination of the land law revision
Participants
  • Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and a total of 12 high level officials from various relevant ministries, etc.
Contents
  • On April 20, the delegation had a courtesy visit to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (SSGP) with GDPC staffs and attended a seminar on Jeju's land administration and FDI policy with officials of Jeju SSGP and Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC).
  • On April 23, at KRIHS, welcoming ceremony was held by KRIHS for the delegation. Presentation introducing KRIHS and a seminar on Korea Land Information System (KLIS) presented by Dr. Jo Jincheol and Dr. Kim Daejong, Research Fellow of the Geospatial Information Research Division (GIRD) respectively.
  • The delegation had a courtesy visit to Mr. Han Manhee, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Transportation, and Maritime Affairs (MLTM) and attended a seminar on urban and land policy of Korea.

  • On April 24, the delegation participated in a seminar on Korea's evaluation system and mass evaluation techniques with the Korean property appraisers where the program focused on the LAR, valuation for compensation purposes, and the KAPA's functions and roles.
