Objectives
- To learn about Korea's experiences in national asset management and public property management, since these issues are critical during the recent rapid land and urban development processes in Vietnam
Participants
- The delegation consisted of 12 officials from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Clearance & Compensation Corporation, and was led by Mr. Pham Dinh Cuong, Director General at the Department of Public Assets Management, MOF.
Contents
- Dr. Jo Jincheol, Vice Director of GDPC provided an introduction of KRIHS.
- Dr. Kim Seungjong, Associate Research Fellow, Housing and Land Research Division at KRIHS presented on the "Overview of the Expropriation & Compensation System in Korea." He explained Korea's actual condition and legal system of expropriation and compensation, providing policy implications for Vietnam.
- Dr. Ji Daesic, Senior Research Fellow of Housing and Land Research Division at KRIHS lectured on the "Current Conditions and Policy Directions of Korean State Property." He discussed the current value trend of state property, classification and types of state property, current status of state land, future policy directions, etc.
