Purpose
- To learn about Korea's experience with the 2003 amendment of the Land Act from visiting personnel, as requested by Vietnam's Ministry of Resources and Environment
Contents
- Vietnam is currently applying a version of the Land Act of 2003 but is trying to amend the law. As such, the conference included questioning by Vietnamese personnel based mainly on Dr. Hee-nam Jung's presentations.
- Meetings with KOICA Vietnam Branch Manager (the Manager advised that KRIHS should actively engage with Vietnam MPI)
- Attended the International Conference commemorating Ministry of Resources and Environment's 65th anniversary (Case Study Presentation by Dr. Jeong Hee Nam, followed by debate among attendees from other countries regarding Vietnam's land use plan)
- International Conferences (Human Resources exchange and project cooperation etc)
