KRIHS, Mexico’s CONVAI conclude MOU on cooperation

The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) on Oct. 19 concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mexico’s National Housing Commission (CONAVI) on boosting cooperation between both organizations. The signing ceremony was held in Quito, Ecuador, on the sidelines of Habitat III.

CONAVI Director-General Paloma Silva de Anzorena explained the status and stressed the importance of Mexico’s housing policy, and hoped for stronger cooperation with KRIHS in housing policy and finance and urban development through the MOU. In response, KRIHS President Kim Dongju said he expects more substantial cooperative activities with CONAVI in urban planning and housing based on Korea’s development experience, as well as the formation of a mutually beneficial relationship. Attending the ceremony were Silva de Anzorena and Director J Guerrero Espinosa from CONAVI, and President Kim, GDPC Director Chung Ilho,orge Researcher Park Sehoon, Assistant Research Fellow Park Misun and Researcher Lee Soyoung from KRIHS.
