GDPC Performance Evaluation Meeting for 1st Half of 2016

The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) on August 16 (Tuesday) hosted the GDPC Performance Evaluation Meeting for the First Half of 2016 at the Conference Room on the 10th floor of the KRIHS building. Among those in attendance were University of Seoul professor Park Hyeon, the Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance's liaison officer at the World Bank Ji Kwangchul, professor Kwak Jae Sung of Kyung Hee University's Graduate School of Pan-Pacific International Studies and Dr. Jeong Okju of the Global Green Growth Institute.

The meeting covered the assessment of GDPC projects in the first half of 2016 and the center's future operation plans. Members of the performance evaluation committee agreed on the need for raising the level of international exchange and development cooperation through developing core content of the KRIHS brand for use in applicable developing nations, inducing participation in development cooperation by KRIHS members through incentives and bolstering the KRIHS network with related organizations. 

The GDPC, based on the meeting's results, will devise plans to facilitate projects to promote effective international exchange and development cooperation.
