GDPC Academy : Applying Google Classrooms to Online Capcity Building Programs​

》​ Introduction​​​​​​​

On April 27, 2021, the first GDPC Academy, a program to improve the capacity of GDPC staffs, took place under the theme “Applying Google Classrooms to Online Capacity Building Programs.”

Professor Jeong Cheol Park of Dankook University’s School of Dentistry was invited as a lecturer. He was awarded the Google Innovator qualification, the first official Google qualification in Korea. In addition, he has established and operated the Google Educator Group (GEG) in South Korea, a group that seeks to innovate in the field of education using the Google Learning Management System (LMS).

In the lecture, he highlighted the recent needs for education methods that employ various online platforms, such as Google LMS, and presented actual cases of technological reflection in the field of real education. The GDPC is very interested in innovative educational methods that integrate ITC and plans to apply them in capacity building programs in the future
