Notice of the 2025 KRIHS-ADB Knowledge Exchange Workshop

The Global Development Partnership Center (GDPC) of the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements (KRIHS) is pleased to announce 「The 2025 KRIHS-ADB Knowledge Exchange Workshop」 as follows.

Details are as follows:

1. Title

- 2025 KRIHS-ADB Knowledge Exchange on Resilient and Low-Carbon Urban Development Policy & Practice

2. Period

- Monday, 3 November 2025 ~ Friday, 7 November 2025 (5 days in total)

3. Venue

- Courtyard by Marriott Seoul

- Selected site visits in Seoul and the metropolitan area

4. Participants

- Approximately 12 government officials from six developing countries(Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Vanuatu)  and 10 representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

5. Objective

- The Workshop aims to share Korea’s experiences and best practices in national territorial development, disaster management, climate-resilient urban planning, and smart city policies. 

- It provides a platform for participating countries to explore policy options and actionable strategies for addressing urban development challenges.

- Through this program, KRIHS seeks to identify opportunities for follow-up collaboration, such as joint research and consulting projects, and to strengthen sustainable cooperation frameworks among participating countries.
