This policy brief contains "Repairs of the Working Class's Owned Houses Need to Be Facilitated - Mainly Single Houses and Small-sized Common Houses".
- The single houses, row houses and private-house apartments in which the majority of the working class live (approximately 48% of inventories) mostly lack appropriate repair investments, causing the early aging of buildings, abnormal plunge in asset values and deterioration of the residential level for residents.
- Policies to facilitate repair investments:
> Subdue support standards (such as the number of houses' life years and house sizes) from the public funds such as the National Housing Fund;
> Examine implementation of the special mortgage system for combined rental houses;
> Cultivate remodeling & repair projects and build the relevant information system;
> Periodically carry out the Housing Condition Survey.
