This policy brief contains "Improvement of Multi-family Rental Housing Policy" written in Korean. A multi-family house in Korea is built four or fewer floors to accommodate multiple households within a building, and each housing unit can be separately registered or sold. The Korean government has recently decided to purchase this kind of housing and rent to low-income families. The multi-family rental housing policy is very important for preventing slum areas, providing rental housing with low rental fee, and developing social welfare system.
